History

Regional development
- Area was evergreen area 200 years ago
  - Density expanded overnight -1840s
  - Poorly planned, hardly any open space for urban farms or gardens
  - Historically reliant on outside food
- Industrialization
  - Brown fields sites
  - Gas and oil developments
- Trajectory
  - Potential for urban agriculture, soil not as polluted as other areas
  - Plenty of community support
- Goldilocks

Development
- Create open space
- Think about green space in future development

Food systems
- Community supported agriculture
- Community involvement

Biodiversity- need it to survive
- The triangles have a variety of community resources in a dense area
- Missing -- local food source and open space
